What to do in an audition for dance/musical theatre colleges?

I will be sending my applications off this September for vocational dance and musical theatre colleges. I will then be auditioning for the colleges from October through to Summer 2012. I was just hoping for some tips on the whole audition process. I have done lots of research on all the credited colleges and after being told by many people i would very much suit Laine Theatre Arts i went to an Easter course there this April and loved it! I am very nervous about the audition process so any tips such as which song to sing, sort of music to dance to, what to wear, what to do to stand out, i would greatly appreciate it!? :)
